Job Summary:
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily operations in the Service Department. Through effective leadership, technical expertise, and customer-centric strategies, the manager ensures top-tier service, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Support and Scheduling:
• Schedule and direct all technicians to meet service demands and exceed customer expectations.

Supervision and Quality Assurance:
• Review technicians' work for quality, safety compliance, and adherence to established standards; provide recommendations for improvement.

Performance Management:
• Coordinate with the line manager to conduct performance appraisals and reviews for all technicians, setting improvement goals in line with company requirements.

Training and Communication:
• Conduct both group and one-on-one meetings for training, evaluation, and communication purposes.

Budget and Efficiency:
• Review work orders, invoices, and time reports for accuracy to maintain cash flow and minimal account receivables.

Inventory Management:
• Monitor fleet inventory, maintenance, and adherence to company policies.
• Conduct field support visits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Skills:
• Leadership and Management: Ability to provide guidance, mentorship, and motivation to team technicians and support staff.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
• Customer Focus: Strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns effectively.
• Financial Acumen: Ability to monitor financial metrics and contribute to departmental profitability.
• Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Proficiency in negotiation and conflict resolution, especially when dealing with vendors, customers, and team members.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to completion.
