JOB DETAILS:
Suubi Lyaffe a Community Based Organisation initiated by mothers of disabled children is looking for an intern to support in the implementation of its activities. Part time- 3 days a week Duty station- Lweza, Kampala .

The intern is responsible for:
• Establishing a monthly report assessment of children’s development; Social, Physically, Spiritually, Intellectual
• Involving children in regular group activities at the centre so as to boost their brain
• Visiting their homes to discuss about their living standards, welfare and environment
• Supervising the children’s hygiene changes on a weekly basis
• Studying and creating analysis of children’s family and background
• Discussing about the children’s welfare in health and diet
• Devising means on how to find solutions to the problems facing parents and children
• Keeping a record of the children by taking photos of children every after six months to analyse developmental changes

Job Skills: Not Specified

Required Capacities:
• Completed a diploma in Social work and social administration/ Early childhood learning/ social psychology
• Experience working with children with special needs and disabilities.
• Excellent communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer literate in basic packages
