JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
The Study Nurse will support TASO research activities by providing high-quality clinical care and data collection services for study participants. This role includes ensuring the safety and well-being of participants while adhering to ethical standards and study protocols.

Key Responsibilities
1. Participant Management:
o Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible study participants.
o Provide pre- and post-test counseling and obtain informed consent.
o Conduct clinical assessments and collect biological samples as required.
2. Clinical Care:
o Administer prescribed treatments and monitor participant safety.
o Manage adverse events and report them according to study protocols.
o Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
3. Data Collection and Reporting:
o Collect, record, and manage participant data in compliance with ethical guidelines.
o Ensure data integrity and timely submission of reports.
o Collaborate with the research team to ensure study objectives are met.
4. Adherence to Study Protocols:
o Ensure all activities comply with study protocols, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
o Participate in study training and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications and Experience
• Education: Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing Science. Additional training in research ethics and clinical trials is an advantage.
• Experience: At least 3 years of clinical experience, with prior involvement in research or clinical trials preferred.
• Skills:
o Excellent patient care and interpersonal skills.
o Strong organizational and data management abilities.
o Familiarity with clinical research procedures and ethical standards.

Associate Degree
