JOB DETAILS:
About the job
The Supply Chain Specialist will ensure compliance with all Procurement processes, procedures and policies and ensure the security and safety of the warehouse Inventory is met at all times. They will also perform the following duties
• Warehouse, Inventory & Logistics Management
• Sourcing & Procurement Management

Roles and responsibilities
Warehouse Management
• Management of warehouse Vendor in line with the agreed contract terms
• Point of contact between warehouse vendor and CSquared Ltd

Inventory and Logistics Processes
• Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance
• Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers
• Managing the Stock inbound process.
• Managing the in-house Stock management process
• Management of Returns to warehouse
• Managing the Asset disposal process Controls
• Ensure metrics, reports, and process documentation is available

Logistics Management
• Coordinate receiving, documentation, and shipping of materials.
• Check freight & shipping documents against the purchase orders and specifications prior to delivery, and contact the vendor if a discrepancy is identified.
• Manage the reverse Logistics process to Include returns, repairs and warranty materials
• Follow up with vendors on delivery timelines
• Manage customs clearance process with the agent
• Ensure tax compliance
• Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements

Inventory Reports:
• Provide meaningful logistics data to others in the organization to aid customer service and cost improvements
• Interpret trends and analyze and review data.
• Provide Month End Stock reports .
• Keep track of slow moving and obsolete stock
• Management of Month Close and Year End Stock Audits

Inventory Capitalization
• Review and critique Capitalization reports and journals submitted by Deloitte

Procurement & Sourcing Management
• Lead negotiations as may be assigned by the Procurement Manager for specific spend purchases and develop strategies and implementation plans for optimizing total spend.
• Implement standard monthly reporting on all Procurement activity and spend – with the objective of providing a comprehensive overview of expenditure, commitments, risks and issues tracking.
• Implement developed strategies to streamline and integrate the Procurement and Logistics processes in the organization so as to maximize realization of the supply chain synergies to the markets.
• Lead the resolution of policy and strategy compliance and communicate the strategies and policies to ensure a common understanding of goals and targets.
• Co-ordinate the contracting process in the company to ensure interests of both the suppliers and the company are protected and ensure all high risk/impact supply relationships are covered by contracts.
• Support the Supplier Evaluation and Performance measurement program for the organization and support the process to achieve set targets for Supplier partners in the organization supply base.
• Continuously review implementation of the supply chain processes,methodology, and challenge the status quo, identify new opportunities and ensure their exploitation to improve their performance in order to reduce costs, improve service, increase responsiveness to customer needs and increase transparency of procurement activity and spend through regular monthly reporting.
• Implement and lead process reviews, selection and adoption of appropriate tools that guarantee improved performance. Ensure that all best practice identified industry best practice is implemented successfully.
• Implement Strategic plans in place for meeting internal customers' expectations and total cost reduction targets against all budgets. Ensure value for money concept is incorporated in all regional procurement activities and achieve cost reduction targets
• Implement internal service level agreements and monitor performance against these measures.
• Manage the vendor master including housekeeping and the new vendor creation process end to end in line with the procurement policy
• Report all rejected purchased materials to the Supply Chain Manager / Warehouse Supervisor and subsequently to the responsible vendor who has supplied / delivered the materials if they do not conform to the requirements as stipulated by the Purchase Order.
• Make reports as required by the Procurement Manager

Supervisory Duties
• None

Education & Experience:
• Relevant Degree in Procurement or Business degree
• Partial or full Qualification in CIPS
• Partial or full Qualification in CILT
• +4 years in a similar position
• Good understanding and experience in the Wireless/Hitech industry is required
• Must be aware of the general regulatory norms of the telecom sector across multi-countries
• Experience at the national or international level in procurement management is required

Skills required:
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills
• Excellent Analytical and organizational skills
• Demonstrated computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent process creation and implementation skills
• Ability to work in a high volume time sensitive environment.

Environment
Approximately 80% performed in a climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Approximately 20% travel will be required in support of the warehouse and other positions responsibilities within the market and beyond.
