BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

Supply and Delivery of Consumables for UEGCL under framework for three years - UEGCL/SPLS/2023-24/10476

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for the procurement described above.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act Cap 205 and Regulations 2023 and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at (7) from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below at (7) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000/- (Ugandan Shillings Fifty Thousand only). The method of payment will be in the bank on Uganda Electricity Generation Co. Ltd – Namakwe Thermal Power P Ops, Stanbic Bank A/C No. 903000203021 upon which bidders shall be presented a bank slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at (7) at or before 11:00 am of Wednesday, 19th February 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid securing declaration. The Bid Securing Declaration must be valid until 9th September 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 11:10 am, Wednesday, 19th February 2025.
