BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

Supply and Installation of Core and Access Network Switches
UEGCL/SPLS/2024-25/20981

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for the Supply and Installation of core and access network switches.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act Cap 25 and regulations 2023, and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below (7) from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

5. The bidding document which has been prepared in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Ugandan shillings). The method of payment will be by bank deposit on the UEGCL A/C No. 9030003172171, Stanbic Bank Uganda Ltd, Forest Mall. The method of delivery of the bidding document shall be physical delivery at the address provided.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address in (7) below before Bid Closing Date: Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 6,000,000 (Ugandan shillings). Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on February 19, 2025, at 11:10 a.m.

7. Documents may be inspected at, issued from, delivered to, and bids opened from:
