BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING
Supply and Installation of Two-Way Radio Communication System - KHPP

Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has received funds to be used for the acquisition of a Two-Way Radio Communication System – Karuma HPP.
The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, CAP 205 as amended and Regulations 2023, and is open to all bidders. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/- (Ugandan Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be on UEGCL A/C No. 005855387, Stanbic Bank upon proof of payment. The document may be picked by the bidder from the provided office location.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 am on Wednesday, 19 February 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 5,900,000/- (Ugandan Shillings Five Million Nine Hundred Thousand Only). Bid securities must be valid until Monday, 15 September 2025. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend 11:10 am on Wednesday, 19 February 2025.
There shall be a pre-bid meeting at UEGCL Karuma HPP Office, Kiryandongo on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.
