BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

Supply of Combined Thrust Bearing Oil Cooler Nests for Units 11-15 - Kirra Power Station - UEGCL/SPLS/24-25/21346

Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has received funds to be used for the supply of Combined Thrust Bearing Oil Cooler Nests for Units 11-15 - Kirra Power Station.

The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, CAP 205 as amended and Regulations 2023, and is open to all bidders. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 9:00am and 5:00pm.

The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be by cash, bank slip or good cheque. The document may be picked by the bidder or representatives at UEGCL Office.

Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(a) at or before 11:00am on Monday 12 May, 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Uganda Shillings Six Million Only). Bid securities must be valid until 31 October, 2025. Late bids shall be rejected.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(b) at 11:15am on Monday 12 May, 2025.
