Bishop Stuart University (Chartered by the Government of Uganda) a growing Ankole Diocese Church of Uganda (Anglican) founded institution located in Kakoba, Mbarara, invites competent applicants for positions listed below; Applicants must be of strong faith, integrity and committed Christians. .

Key duties and responsibilities:
• Management of the ICT systems Administration unit and supervise them effectively.
• Accomplishes information systems staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures to employees.
• Maintains staff by orienting, and training employees in your unit to ensure they meet the required performance standards.
• Maintains safety and healthy working environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards in line with the legal regulations.
• Sustains information systems results by defining, delivering, and supporting information systems.
• Assesses information systems results by auditing application of systems.

Requirements/Job Specifications
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Information Systems.
• At least 7 years’ experience in a Higher Institution of Learning or a reputable organization with busy schedules and heavy workload.
• Possess a network and Systems Audited Certification.
• Has a wide knowledge of Unix and Windows Server Environments.
• Ability to develop software with PHP, python, java development environment, and database with SQL Server or Oracle.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to mentor junior staff.
• Management of online learning module training and designing.
• Be able to teach computer-related programs at different levels.
• Oversee the management of all of the practical lectures.
