JOB DETAILS:
SHELADIA Associates is a multi-disciplinary international professional consulting firm with demonstrated experience in the successful management and implementation of development projects throughout the world. SHELADIA believes that practicality and sustainability in development projects require flexible resource management, active participation of all stakeholders, and a shared goal of strengthening institutions and operational systems, to optimize the use of available resources.
SHELADIA is seeking a Team Leader with the below experience in Uganda;

The team leader shall be responsible for the conduct of the entire study and, therefore shall be the principal contact person between the consultant and the client. In addition to defining and supervising the activities of other members of the consultancy team, the Team Leader is expected to carry out the feasibility, preliminary and detailed geometric design of the road, hydraulic and structural design of the drainage systems, and compilation of the road furniture inventory, ESIA and RAP.
The Team Leader shall also be responsible for the preparation of pre-qualification and bidding documents. He shall ensure that the documents comply with the procurement guidelines as advised by UNRA.
In addition to holding a graduate degree, the Team Leader shall be a registered or Chartered Civil Engineer of not less than 15 years postgraduate experience in road design and construction. The Team leader shall have specific experience of at least 10 years working in, managing consultancy teams working on feasibility studies, and detailed design on major upgrading projects. Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
