The Overview
Farm Africa is seeking an agricultural value chain and market engagement expert who will drive our focus on linking smallholder farmers to demand-driven value chains and building rural agribusinesses. The Technical Manager will be responsible for developing Farm Africa’s capacity to deliver business development services to rural agri-businesses and market linkage solutions for smallholder farmers.
Working closely with the Senior Management Team, the Programme Quality Team and programme staff in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, the role will provide technical leadership and implementation oversight for all of Farm Africa’s market engagement initiatives and enterprise development support, and will drive technical excellence within Farm Africa’s work in by developing our approaches, people, tools and learning.
