The FP Project Officer will support the development. Implementation and monitoring of project activities to expand access and increase the utilization of integrated high-quality FP services. S/he will provide assistance and support in a variety of technical areas such as training and capacity building for various cadres of health workers and ensuring compliance with internationally accepted clinical standards and practices, MOH and Engender Health clinical policies, and ensuring clinical quality of activities. S/he must have a Master’s degree in public health or a related field or a clinical degree (MD, nursing, midwifery), with five years of experience in health or family planning programs especially in programming, development and management. S/he must also have three years of experience working with NGOs in planning, designing, budgeting, managing, evaluating and documenting health programs. Familiarity with USAID family planning or other health programs is preferred. The ability and willingness to travel within project-supported districts to monitor progress and provide technical assistance to project activities is required.
