The Bible Society of Uganda is a registered Christian non-governmental organization, which serves Churches and the general public by making the Holy Scriptures available in languages and media that communicate effectively to the people. Due to expansion of our programs, we are now seeking for qualified and passionate individuals willing to share in our Vision and Mission to join the team in the following roles: -
Position Translators Rufumbira (1 vacancy). Ateso (1 vacancy). Ludadiri ( 3 vacancies)
Reports to Translation & Publishing Manager
Location KISORO, SOROTI & MBALE, respectively.
Specifications
Graduate qualifications in Biblical Studies, Theology/Divinity and Linguistics, an active Christian with fluent knowledge of the respective mother tongue, self-driven, industrious, a recommendation letter from a church leader, good computer skills / knowledge of Para text software is an added advantage
