JOB DETAILS:

Tuko is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transport and Recovery Services Logistics Manager to join the company.
The ideal candidate should have a great passion for logistics and a proven track record in the transportation and recovery industry. This role is based in Kampala and requires deep understanding of the city and it's transportation network.

Responsibilities;
1. Manage and oversee all transport and recovery operations within the city of Kampala
2. Ensure timely and efficient transportation and recovery services to clients
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the overall transport and recovery operations.
4. Coordinate with other departments ensure seamless service delivery.
5. Monitor and analyze the performance of transport and recovery operations, and implement improvements as needed.
6. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
7. Oversee the management of resources, including vehicles, drivers, and equipment, to ensure optimal utilization and maintenance.

Qualifications;
1. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the transportation and recovery industry, with experience in a leadership role
3. Thorough knowledge of the city of Kampala and its transportation network
4. Holds a valid driving license
5. Strong knowledge of transport and recovery operations and procedures
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
