JOB DETAILS:
Geomechanics, a South African based Geotechnical Investigation company has been contracted by TOTAL EAST AFRICA MIDSTR EAM B.V. to conduct the ONSHORE PIPELINE GEOTECHNICAL SITE INVESTIGATION FOR TANZANIA AND UGANDA FOR THE EACOP PROJECT.
Geomechanics invites only qualified Ugandans who can fully prove to meet the required job specifications and with the right personal attributes to apply for the positions listed below. We are only looking for applicants who are willing to work on a short term 2-month contract. Applicants must have experience of working with the following specific equipment that will be in use during the course of the project:
Truck mounted crane
Our requirements regarding personnel are as follows:
• Certified driver with the necessary credentials and experience
• TETA accredited truck mounted crane operators’ certificate
• Valid Code 14 drivers’ license
• Valid PDP
Applicants must have:
• Specific knowledge and proven past experience of driving with the above-mentioned trucks, and
• Have off road and 4 x 4 capability in driving the above-mentioned trucks, and
• Must be qualified and certified by a registered training authority to use and operate a truck mounted crane, and
• Worked on Specialized Geotechnical Investigation projects, and
• In-depth knowledge and safety culture to work to TOTAL (or Similar) stringent HSEQ management standards and processes
