About the Company

JOB DETAILS:Century Bottling Company Limited is a Franchise Bottler and distributor of Coca Cola Products in Uganda. We are currently seeking to recruit a Unit Manager Utilities based in Mbarara.
As Unit Manager Utilities you will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:

• Draw up a Business plan for optimal planning in line with the strategic objectives.
  
• Drive World Class Manufacturing initiatives in the Utilities environment.
  
• Manage and support Team Leaders to achieve production, maintenance and quality targets in a cost effective manner.
  
• Solve systematic problems to save costs, minimize risk and losses and to improve productivity in line with benchmarks.
  
• Ensure compliance to safety and statutory requirements.
  
• Manage asset care within the Utility Department.
  
• Sell, manage, implement and actively support change interventions and projects.
  
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  
• 3 years’ experience in a leadership role in the Utility environment
  
• 5 years’ Engineering experience in a FMCG environment
  
• Excellent MS Office skills
  
• Ability to identify gaps and initiate improvement activities.
  
• Experience in Financial interpretation and Project management
  
• Must be self-motivated. enthusiastic, possess good analytical ability and problem solving skills.
