Our commitment to developing the Ugandan coffee industry is unwavering, and we are proud of our positive contribution to the industry. we are looking for a SUPERVISOR DRYING YARD AND WAREHOUSE (f/m/d).
The position will be based in MBALE and will report directly to COMMERCIAL MANAGER ARABICA.

Your responsibilities
• Fully responsible for the coordination of coffee drying of all the batches at the drying yard.
• Monitor coffee batches and ensure that the quality and output targets are met.
• Give daily reports for all coffees still in the yard and the warehouse. Supervise and coordinate activities of casual workers.
• Observe equipment, personnel, and work areas. Inspection at specified intervals to verify conformance to expected quality standards supported by the quality team.
• Regular communication with warehouse Ibero-Kampala on which batches are dry and need to be transferred.
• Regular communication with the washing station team on the availability of space for drying and what volumes can always be sent down.
• Observe strict adherence to drying protocols, like separation of batches to avoid mixing of coffees.

• Educated to degree level.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine detail.
• Accounting skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
• Good interpersonal skills to work with management and staff at all levels.
• Must have impeccable character and integrity.
• He/She must be willing to stay near the workstation throughout the coffee processing season.
