Whave is a Ugandan social enterprise currently seeking candidates for a number of roles to expand our Sustainable WASH Systems programme in Kamuli and Nakaseke Districts.

Water Source Engineer
Main tasks will include: leading the assessment and technical rehabilitation of water sources, developing supply chains of spare parts stocks. capacity building of local hand pump mechanics for water source maintenance, developing water source maintenance schedules, and developing and promoting water treatment and other sanitation technologies.

Requirements: Minimum three years experience installing and/or maintaining water sources, high level of communication and interpersonal skills, degree level education in engineering preferable, good computer skills, ability to ride a motorbike I drive and speak LugandalLusoga preferable, but not essential.
