Role Overview

We are seeking 30 dynamic Sales Representatives to join our team in Kampala. This full-time position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to collaborate with colleagues while having the flexibility to work remotely. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in promoting our innovative insurance products, addressing customer needs, and driving sales growth. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about helping clients secure their futures.

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full-time

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid 
  • Reporting Structure: Reports to Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prospect and on-board potential customers in line with their needs.
  2. Provide clients with accurate information regarding Jubilee Allianz insurance solutions.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster trust.
  4. Cross-sell other relevant solutions to existing clients.
  5. Ensure that customer queries are promptly responded to.
  6. Follow up with clients to ensure periodical premiums are paid on time and for policy
  7. renewals.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions.
  9. Represent Jubilee Allianz Insurance company professionally at all times.
  10. Meet the sales targets set by the company.
  11. Treat customers fairly in all situations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree preferably in the fields of business, finance, economics, or
  • marketing. Certificate Of Proficiency in Insurance (COP) is an added advantage.
  • Sales experience of at least one year in a busy environment.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Knowledge of insurance products or financial services is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, Luganda and Swahili

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with transportation knowledge. 
  • Skills in Critical Thinking, Active Learning, and Service Orientation. 
  • Ability to estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.

Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, and Power BI. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, Luganda, and Swahili.
Education: Post-secondary Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or other related fields. Experience: 1-2 years in a sales role.
