This is how it works:

2. If your CV match the requirements of the job, you will have an interview with the team abroad via Zoom
3. If you pass the interview, your CV will be then discussed with the employer.
4. If the employer makes the final decision to take you, then you start the preparations to travel
5. You only make any payment commitments once the employer makes the final decision. Otherwise you do not spend any money until the job offer is confirmed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the company
2. Monitor and analyse data and produce financial reports and statements
3. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
4. Coordinate and complete annual audits
5. Design and implement amendments on accounting systems and controls if required
6. Supervises, trains, develops and guide the accounts team

Skills and Requirements:

1. Certified Public Accountant
2. Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or related course in Accounting
3. With at least 3 years of experience in similar role
4. Proven knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
5. High attention to detail
6. Ability to direct and supervise
7. Strong communication skills

Terms of Recruitment:

1. Contract period: 4 years
2. Office hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with one day off per week.
3. Accommodation : One bedroom in a shared accommodation with basic furnishings.

Utilities and other expenses will be the sole responsibility of the employee.

1. Food allowance : UGX 320,000 per month.
2. Transportation : Free transportation to and from work and on off days.
3. Medical insurance : As per medical insurance policy, including an evacuation component in case the employee contracts illnesses not treatable locally, and any deductibles levied by the insurance company (currently 20% excess) will be the responsibility of the employee.
4. Joining Ticket : Free airfare from point of origin to PNG and back after the completion of contract.
5. Leave Policy : Entitled to six weeks of holiday / annual leave payments after two years of service including free airfare.

Gross salary range in UGX - 3,889,000 to 4,417,000 per month
