Reference is made to the advertisement that was made in The New Vision of May 02, 2025 for the above tender.

This is to inform all interested bidders that:

1. Bank of Uganda intends to issue an Addendum to the Bidding Document for the above tender.
2. The Addendum shall be available online on June 06, 2025 under the Procurement tab on the Bank of Uganda website at www.bou.or.us.
3. All subsequent correspondences on this tender shall also be posted to the Bank of Uganda website. Bidders are encouraged to regularly check the website for any updates.
4. The deadline for bid submission has been extended from June 04, 2025 to June 30, 2025 at 03:00pm EAT.

Job Description (Additional Details):
The Bank of Uganda is seeking a qualified provider to implement an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solution to enhance the security and efficiency of its digital infrastructure. The IAM solution will be responsible for managing user identities, roles, and access permissions across the Bank's systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating cybersecurity risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and configure a robust IAM system tailored to the Bank's operational needs.
• Integrate the IAM solution with existing IT systems and applications.
• Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) capabilities.
• Ensure seamless user provisioning and de-provisioning processes.
• Provide training and support to Bank staff for effective utilization of the IAM system.
• Deliver comprehensive documentation and periodic system audits.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in deploying IAM solutions for large financial institutions or similar entities.
• Expertise in IAM technologies such as role-based access control (RBAC), privileged access management (PAM), and identity governance.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory standards applicable to the banking sector.
• Ability to meet the extended deadline of June 30, 2025, for bid submission.
