ABRIDGED NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS UNDER OPEN BIDDING

1. The Office of the President – Ministry for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs has received funding from the World Bank and the French Development Agency for implementation of the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area – Urban Development Program (GKMA-UDP).
2. Mpigi District Local Government as the leading procuring entity together with the participating entity of Wakiso District Local Government hereby invites Requests for Proposals from eligible Consultants for:

Subject Matter of Procurement
Consultancy Service for Construction Supervision of Selected Markets in Wakiso and Mpigi

Lot 1: Construction of Kawuku Market in Wakiso District Local Government
Lot 2: Construction of Wakiso Central Market in Wakiso District Local Government
Lot 3: Construction of Mpigi Central Market in Mpigi District Local Government

 1st August 2025 at 10:30 am

3. The Request for proposals (RFP) document shall be inspected and issued at Procurement & Disposal Department, Mpigi District Local Government from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm from Monday to Friday except on Public Holiday.
4. Mpigi District Local Government shall hold a Pre-Proposal meeting on 7th July 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Procurement & Disposal Department Mpigi District Local Government
