JOB DETAILS:

Overall Purpose of the Job:
The Customs Clearance Clerk ensures goods move across borders by preparing and
processing customs documentation, calculating duties and taxes, and ensuring compliance with
regulations.

Duties and responsibilities:
 Prepare and process customs declarations, invoices, packing lists, and other necessary
documents for import and export shipments.
 Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations.
 Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions.
 Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and procedures.
 Liaise with customs officials and other relevant agencies to address any issues or queries.
 Prepare and process payments for duties, taxes, and other charges.
 Monthly customs clearance data sorting, Scheduling for Daily deliveries and Shipment
Tracking;

Qualifications and Key Competencies
 Bachelor’s degree in any Business-related field.
 At least two (1) years’ experience in a similar role.
 Hands-on experience in End-to-End processes for Import and Export shipments or
equivalent experience.
 Clear Knowledge of customs clearance.

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
