JOB DETAILS:
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in either Land Surveying and Geomatics; or Land Surveying and Geo Spatial Science; or Land Surveying and Information Systems; or Land Economics; or Land Valuation plus a Master’s Degree in the above fields from a recognized University / Institution. Applicants should be registered with the relevant professional body.

Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of nine (9) years working experience, three (3) of which should have been gained at Assistant Commissioner or Head of Department level in Government or from a reputable organization.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Director Physical Planning for performing the following duties:-
• Developing and reviewing land surveying and land management plan and set benchmarks for the implementation of the planned projects in line with the Authority’s objectives.
• Developing and reviewing surveying and land management policies and guidelines in the KCCA in line with the applicable laws.
• Initiating review and providing technical advice to management on the implementation of surveying and land management policies in line with the Authority’s objectives.
• Initiating and implementing surveying and land management reforms in KCCA in line with the land management law in the company
• Planning and reviewing land registration process, create a data bank for land information system in the KCCA in line with the Authority’s objectives
• Developing and reviewing a system for monitoring the implementation of surveying activities in KCCA as per the KCCA objectives.
• Managing performance and developing staff under direct supervision as per the Human Resources performance management policy.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
