Post: Driver - Directorate of Human Resources (University Wide)

Reporting To Head of the Unit/ Supervisor
Job Purpose Ensure the safety of the vehicle and its occupants while carrying out his/her duties
Key, Duties and Responsibilities
1. Deliver mails and documents as assigned by the supervisor;
2. Provide chauffer services to the supervisor and or as assigned;
3. Keep vehicle clean, polished, and in good operating condition;
4. Routine check-up of the vehicle;
5. Keep records of trips;
6. Account for the vehicle and all accessories (Jerk, spare tyre, wheel spanner, keys);
7. Ensure that the vehicle is parked at designated place by close of official business;
8. Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications O’ Level Certificate;
Valid Driving Permit with the appropriate classes (A, B, DL);
Good track record of driving
Experience Minimum of three (3) years of driving experience
Skills/Competences
i. High sense of humility;
ii. Good time manager;
iii. Confidentiality.
Tenure of Appointment 4-year Contract
Age Limit APPLICANTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED FIFTY-FIVE (55) YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
