Duties and responsibilities for sales agents
• Contacts prospective clients about insurance products and policies
• Meets with potential clients to discuss adequacy of existing insurance policies and related financial resources
• Explains various insurance policies to potential and existing clients
• Guides clients in selecting coverage to best meet their needs
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

• Perform sales, management and administrative tasks
• Have excellent sales and leadership skills
• Strong customer service skills

• Develop team strengths and improve weaknesses
• Identify team goals evaluate team progress
• Resolve conflict
• Organize team initiatives
• Lead and motivate the team
• Manage performance and training the team

Qualifications for sales team leaders
• Bachelor’s degree in any field, post graduate/masters will be an added advantage
