Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement M&E frameworks to assess program effectiveness, ensuring

alignment with donor requirements and internal learning objectives. This includes creating

log frames, designing data collection tools, and establishing performance metrics.

2. Manage internal M&E systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and usability of impact

data. Leverage this data to generate insights that inform program strategy, contribute to

learning, and support grant reporting.

3. Translate data into compelling impact narratives by synthesizing quantitative and

qualitative findings into engaging reports, presentations, and case studies for donors,

partners, and stakeholders.

4. Support strategic decision-making by identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities based on

program data, enabling continuous improvement and innovation in our initiatives.

5. Lead M&E components in proposal development by designing monitoring and evaluation

strategies, drafting relevant sections for grant applications, and ensuring alignment with

funder expectations and best practices in impact measurement.

 

Core Competencies

  • Experienced M&E and communications expert with 5-8 years of experience creating,

monitoring, analysing results and dissemination findings to support companies, donors and

program implements to better understand the impact of their work

  • Excellent written and oral communication, with the ability to write more technical log

frames and or detailed grant reports, as well as digestible synthesis of our insights

  • Background in project management, consulting, social enterprises or similar type of roles,

with a passion and willingness to proactively create and innovate

  • Demonstrated experience in business development with excellent relationship

management and client relationship development

  • Sector experience in the green and/or digital economy and youth unemployment
  • Experience supporting proposal development and Prior experience and/or relationships

with key funders in our space

  • Advanced data analysis and GenAI skills
  • Ability to build and maintain complex systems with high attention to detail
  • Passion for promoting decent and fulfilling work, climate, and DE&I principles
  • Values working with purpose and intent to the highest standards of excellence, and willing

to learn from mistake
