The Manager of Innovation and Client Solutions will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of innovative financial products, services, and solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients in the banking sector. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, IT, and business development, to identify new opportunities for growth, enhance customer experiences, and optimize client-facing processes.
Key responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Strategy Development and Business Growth
- Develop and implement a comprehensive innovation strategy aligned with the Bank’s strategy of creating a digital & Agile culture
- Develop and execute the company's innovation strategy, identifying new opportunities and emerging trends, market trends, and customer.
- Foster a culture of creativity and experimentation within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative Business solutions.
- Oversee the development and delivery of client solutions that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Identify and nurture strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations with external stakeholders.
- Focus on improving the digital customers experience across all touch point.
- Establish processes and frameworks for generating, evaluating, and prioritizing innovative ideas from employees, customers, and partners.
- Manage the prototyping and testing of new concepts and solutions to validate feasibility, desirability, and viability before full-scale implementation.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with both internal teams (technology, product development, marketing) and external partners (fintech’s, technology vendors, and industry experts).
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and drive collaborative efforts.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other forums to promote innovation and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with business development and sales teams to present new solutions to clients, enhancing customer acquisition and retention.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on innovative banking technologies, digital transformation, and financial services solutions.
Client-Centric Innovation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Analyse client feedback and market trends to continually improve and adapt client solutions.
- Work closely with key clients to understand their business needs, pain points, and objectives.
- Develop innovative banking solutions tailored to the unique requirements of each client, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals.
- Lead the ideation, prototyping, and execution of cutting-edge financial products, services, and digital platforms.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in the financial services and banking sectors, including fintech innovations, regulatory changes, and customer experience advancements.
Innovation Culture & Thought Leadership
- Promote a culture of innovation within the organization, fostering creativity and collaboration across teams.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement new solutions for clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
- Oversee the end-to-end process of solution development, from ideation and concept development to full-scale implementation and post-launch support.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all key stakeholders are informed, and risks and issues are identified and mitigated.
- Participate in industry events, webinars, and forums to stay informed on global banking innovations and share insights internally.
- Lead internal training sessions to educate teams on new technologies and client engagement strategies.
Risk, Control & Governance
- Identify and manage risks associated with innovation initiatives, including technical, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks
- Evaluates processes and procedures from time to time to develop more efficient operations, compliance, better controls, and customer experience.
- Constantly monitors the effectiveness and performance of fraud controls and advise the responsible teams on how to improve where applicable.
Data-Driven Insights:
- Analyse client data and market trends to identify opportunities for new banking products and services.
- Provide regular insights and reports on the performance of new solutions, offering recommendations for optimization.
- Measure the effectiveness of client solutions, gathering feedback and adapting strategies as needed.
Minimum Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
- An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile).
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in banking, financial services, or fintech, with a focus on innovation, product development, or client solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Experience in the development and delivery of innovative digital banking solutions or financial products.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in the banking sector
