JOB DETAILS:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, Worley Parsons Uganda, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Project Accountant to work on the EACOP (East African Crude Oil Pipeline) construction project in Uganda.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Reporting to accounting supervisors and provide pre-billing information for project managers to review.
• Provide cost estimates and prepare invoices.
• Assist the construction team to interpret the Approved For Construction Design and to the project Accountant will
• Ensure accurate and timely client billing and monitor costing of reimbursable and lump sum contracts.
• Ensure project profitability by ensuring accurate recovery of all costs as defined in the contract and ensuring the minimization of non-billable costs.
• To provide a focal point / interface between Finance and Projects.

Qualifications and experience
• 3 years’ experience in Accounting or equivalent by experience in billing, expenses, accounts receivable and reconciliations.
• Experience in an accounts receivable or project control or commercial support role.
• Experience in the use of Proman or similar system advantageous.
• Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
• Team focus and organisation skills.
• Sound project accounting knowledge.
• System knowledge of Proman, detailed Excel and key functional impacts.
• Ability to understand and apply contractual commercial terms.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
