Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, Worley Parsons Uganda, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced IT Support to work on the EACOP (East African Crude Oil Pipeline) construction project in Uganda.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide End Users Hardware, Software and Applications support to staff and systems
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
• Recording and tracking service requests and incidents ensuring timely resolution and fulfilment of incidents and requests respectively.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Providing technical support across the company
• Coordinating repairs and replacement of equipment as necessary
• Continuously researching and testing new technology as the IT world is so dynamic
• Manage IT assets and life cycle ensuring all staff have functional working tools
• Vendor Management to ensure timely delivery of services
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Qualifications and experience
• Preferably degree in Information Technology, Computer science or any related field
• A minimum of two (2) years’ Experience in a similar role
• Have strong skills with PC hardware, Windows OS, MS Office 2010 or newer, and be able to operate in a networked environment.
• The ability to work well in a team.

• The ability to prioritize your workload.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
