JOB DETAILS:
Quality Control Lead

Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensuring that the quality of the work meets or exceeds the project’s contractual requirements.
• Perform onsite field observation of installed work (e.g., concrete, structural steel, process and mechanical piping, electrical, etc.)
• Responsible for coordinating the quality activities of the construction quality staff and subcontractors.
• The QC Lead has the authority and organizational freedom to assess, inspect, monitor, and witness construction activities that may be delegated to the site or area Quality staff members
• Organize and prepare the overall quality control plan of the project for EPC1 & EPC2.
• Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Review current standards and policies.
• Create or review detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Monitor all operations that affect quality on site or in suppliers’ factory.
• Assure the reliability and consistency of equipment, system, and facilities by checking processes and final output.
• Appraise Company’s quality requirements and make sure they are satisfied.
• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analysing quality data.
• Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation
• Ensure all legal standards are observed.
• Communicate with external QA/QC during on-site inspections.
• Participate in check and acceptance of all facilities and whole project.


Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum, chemical or mechanical engineering or related. and or, A Higher National Diploma/ Certificate
• At least 12-year related working experience including at least 8 years’ proven work experience as QA/QC supervisor or engineer in oil and gas industry.
• Familiar with QA/QC in Oil and Gas industry
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
• In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
• Familiar with quality control requirements on-site for Oil and Gas projects
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with project team organization and optimization techniques
• High-security awareness.
• Excellent team player.
• Highly motivated and achievement orientated
