Job Summary:

The Senior Lecturer in Food Science will teach, conduct research, and contribute to curriculum development in food chemistry, nutrition, and food processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Food Science and Technology.
• Conduct research in food safety, nutrition, and food preservation techniques.
• Supervise student research projects and dissertations.
• Collaborate with industry partners on food innovation and safety standards.
• Develop and update course content in line with industry trends.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of university teaching experience.
• Strong research portfolio with peer-reviewed publications.
• Experience in food product development and quality assurance is an advantage.

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
