JOB DETAILS:
Description
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sustainability Analyst to join our growing Sustainability team at Alliad. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing, implementing and monitoring our sustainability initiatives that align with our organizational goals.

As a Sustainability Analyst, you will assess the governance, environmental and social impacts of our operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable, data-driven insights to support decision-making processes across the organization.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, as you will be tasked with collecting, analyzing, and reporting on sustainability data to stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, the role calls for collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders requiring excellent communication skills and a real appetite to lead projects and teams.

Responsibilities
• Support the Sustainability team establishing processes and procedures to ensure Company’s preparedness to collect and report on all ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data.
• Conduct thorough analysis of company practices and operations to assess environmental and social impact and performance
• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets related to sustainability to identify opportunities for improvement
• Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations for improvement
• Develop and maintain visual dashboards and reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, implement and monitor sustainability programs and initiatives.
• Drive the implementation of planned ESG initiatives and integrate ESG criteria into broader company initiatives alongside relevant departments.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainability awareness and foster a culture of responsibility.
• Act as an ESG champion, engaging stakeholders and reinforcing a culture of sustainability across the Company
• Stay informed on regulatory changes, monitor regulatory compliance, ensuring the company remains compliant with evolving environmental and sustainability standards.

Requirements
• Minimum of 5-year experience in a business analyst or sustainability/ESG-focused role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Development, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present sustainability data, identify ESG trends and make data-driven recommendations.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Tableau, or similar.
• Well versed in – corporate ESG frameworks (SASB, GRI, TCFD, GHG Protocol, SBTi). Relevant ESG certifications (e.g., SASB, GRI) are a plus.
• Relative experience in Environmental impact assessments, strategic environmental planning, Social Value.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills suited to a consultative, collaborative corporate environment.
• Strong project management skills.
• Locations preferred: Asia, Africa or Europe
