Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader to oversee our sales team in Ntinda. The Team Leader will be responsible for recruiting and training new sales agents, driving business growth, and ensuring the team meets its targets. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and a strong sales background.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit and Train Sales Agents: Identify, hire, and train new sales agents, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
• Develop Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for reaching targets and generating new business.
• Achieve Business Targets: Lead the team in achieving sales goals, setting clear expectations, and providing ongoing support.
• Monitor Performance: Track the performance of sales agents, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
• Provide Coaching and Mentorship: Offer guidance, motivation, and coaching to enhance the skills and productivity of each team member.
• Promote Team Collaboration: Foster a positive, collaborative environment to encourage teamwork and achieve shared goals.
• Conduct Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, competition, and customer needs to adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in sales, with proven success in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, training, and sales development.
Skills and Competencies:
• Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, guide, and support team members to meet and exceed targets.
• Sales Acumen: Excellent understanding of sales strategies, customer engagement, and market dynamics.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle administrative tasks related to team management.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data to assess performance, set goals, and make informed decisions.
