JOB DETAILS:
Nella is a 360-degree provider of comprehensive health and wellness solutions delivered through the Nella Wellness Service Centres, Nella Wellness Kitchen, Nella Organics Product Range, and the Nella Digital Wellness Platform.
OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
The GM will create shareholder value by providing the vision, leadership, strategy and has the overall responsibility for the management Nella’s resources
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing similar-sized organizations (8 years plus of senior managerial experience)
3. Relevant industry experience, knowledge of the target market and changing business trends
4. In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, finance, and performance management principles
5. Transparency and high-integrity leadership
6. Effective people management and delegation
7. Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners and the workforce.
8. Analytical mindset
9. Problem-solving orientation

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Development, review and refinement of the Company’s business strategy and execution of that strategy to obtain a leading position in the marketplace
2. Ensure revenue growth is achieved in a responsible and profitable manner; both organically and through the successful completion of projects
3. Provide high-level strategic and tactical leadership to the Board and the management team
4. Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
5. Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures
6. Make high-level decisions about policy and HR practices.
7. Participating in industry-related events or associations that will enhance the GM’s leadership skills, the organization’s reputation and the organization’s potential for success.
8. Analyse opportunities for growth in market segments to drive profitability.
9. Oversee quality control throughout the company, establishing goals for each department in partnership with division managers
10. Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of senior managers while providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
11. Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile
12. Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale for the entire workforce
