JOB DETAILS:

Our client;
Our client is a company that provides secure, reliable and efficient payment solutions to businesses and organizations of various sizes. They specialize in delivering end-to-end payment processing services that include card payments, mobile payments, online payments, and point-of-sale systems. They operate in various sectors including retail, hospitality, eCommerce, government, and financial services. Their solutions are designed to reduce payment processing costs, increase security and optimize the payment experience for both the customers and merchants.

Primary objective of the role;

To work as part of the Implementation team in accordance to the direction received from the Head of Services to deliver on the company strategy. The role encompasses building, managing the company infrastructure, including networking, servers, desktops. In addition, installation, support and management of applications required by the Company. PCI-DSS and general security must be continuously observed in the Company.

Qualification & Experience;
1. IT related qualification
2. 7+ years of experience Competencies
3. Virtualization
4. AWS/Azure/VMWare
5. Windows (Servers, Domain Controllers)
6. Linux (Servers)
7. Windows / Apple / Linux Desktops
8. Networking (LAN, Switches, WAN, VPN, DNS)
9. Datacentre infrastructure (Server Hardware, Power, Airconditioning etc)
10. Nagios/Centreon/Scripting - APIs - Backups & Replication
11. SAN/NAS
12. Printers
13. Telephony
14. Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, Fortinet…)

Key Responsibilities;
1. Infrastructure and Network Configuration
2. Infrastructure and network installation and configuration,
3. Assisting in identifying and resolving problems related to the infrastructureand anticipating requirements. Act as escalation point/domain expert if theteam is not able to resolve technical issues.
4. Maintain and ensure DR and BCP testing (business continuity planning)
5. Implementing solutions in respect of business requirements with the relevant resources from service providers.
6. Assist the Head of Services in implementing the overall IT operating model.
7. Ensure backups are performed and monitored.

Incident and Problem Management
1. Ensure that incidents / problems are documented and resolved either inhouse or with the relevant service providers.
2. Ensure that all system failures are reported.
3. Monitor the investigation and resolution of problem and co-ordination of technical activities to facilitate the quick resolution of problems.
4. Support and maintain network and infrastructure to prevent future occurrences of incidents and problems.
5. Test to ensure systems are functional following an interruption in service.

Information Security Management

1. Maintain ISMS (Support, design, monitor and maintain IT security) in conjunction with the Head of Services.
2. Assist the Head of Services in preserving assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
3. Assist the Head of Services in implementing and maintaining PCI-DSS and PCI-Pin compliance.
4. Assist the Head of Services in completing the PCI audit
5. Keyloading of product Gateways, Cardinal Servers, HSMs and POS devices

Application management
1. Install, support and upgrade Products
2. Install and maintain Software applications required by the product

Vendor Relationships

1. Assist the Head of Services with all IT-related contractual obligations, i.e. negotiating, renewing or terminating contracts
2. Effectively managing vendor relationships in conjunction with Head of Services
3. Coordinate the procurement of services and hardware from vendors

Cost Management
1. Assist the Head of Services in planning for Capex/Opex requirements for IT Infrastructure
2. Implement initiatives to reduce operational costs and the cost of IT to the company
3. Maintain Asset registers
