Job description
On behalf of a major operator in Uganda, I am searching for a Package Manager to join them on-site on a 4x4 rotation, on an 18-month renewable contract.

Description:
1. Responsible for overall preparation of all the call for tenders and management of the selection process for all Execution contractors involved in the Construction Execution Contracts. Some of the main responsibilities include:
2. Manage the Enabling Infrastructure activities, Industrial Area site preparation, roads, wellpads preparation, having already commenced on site.
3. Responsible for the Enabling Infrastructure required for the development of the Uganda Upstream Project and manage the several Contractors that would be involved on the EI execution.
4. Mobilise, organise and manage the teams required to carry out the work.

Requirements:
1. Qualified engineer with proven experience in Construction, Site works & Project Management.
2. 15+ years’ experience of large onshore projects and remote locations in Oil & Gas industry English mandatory.
3. Good communication, managerial & organizational skills, capabilities to take workload & work under pressure, able to work in a multicultural environment.
4. Strong team leader able to take proper actions & decisions to respect targets, including reporting to his manager.
5. Very familiar with Company project management practices, procedures & organization.
6. Ability to adapt & to represent the Company in discussions / negotiations with Contractors.
