JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose / Objective:
Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of construction equipment and vehicles used in road construction projects.
Ensuring the reliable functioning of electrical components, systems, and controls to support construction operations.
Provide expertise in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in construction equipment and vehicles, ensuring their efficient and safe operation.
Maintaining electrical systems to minimize downtime, enhance equipment performance, and support project completion.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
• Electrical Diagnostics: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in construction equipment and vehicles.
• Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, components, and controls.
• Wiring and Connections: Install, repair, and replace wiring, connectors, and electrical components.
• Diagnostic Equipment: Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and rectify electrical faults.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work.
• Equipment Testing: Conduct tests to ensure the proper functioning of repaired electrical systems.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and diagnostic procedures.
• Parts Procurement: Order and manage electrical components and parts required for repairs.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with mechanics and technicians for integrated repairs.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on repairs, equipment status, and electrical system performance.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with construction teams to communicate test results and provide recommendations.
• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

• Equipment Uptime: Minimizing downtime caused by electrical issues.
• Repair Efficiency: Efficiently diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring safe electrical work practices.
• Equipment Reliability: Enhancing equipment reliability through effective electrical repairs.
• Timely Repairs: Completing electrical repairs within required timeframes.
• Diagnostic Accuracy: Accurate identification of electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Documentation Accuracy: Maintaining accurate records of repairs and procedures.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrating expertise in electrical diagnostics and repairs.

• Maintenance Knowledge: Skill in developing maintenance schedules and implementing efficient maintenance practices.

• Electrical Expertise: Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, components, and diagnostics.

• Safety Focus: Prioritizing safety while performing electrical work.
• Problem-Solving: Effectively identifying and resolving electrical issues.
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Diagnostic Equipment Use: Skill in using diagnostic tools and equipment for accurate troubleshooting.
• Technical Documentation: Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs and procedures.

• Working experience: Possession 10 years working experience obtained in equivalent capacity of which 5 years in supervisory capacity.
