JOB DETAILS:
Job title: Machine Operator – Blow Section (11 Positions), Kampala
Reporting To Shift Supervisor, The Successful Candidate Will;
Key Result Areas:
• Preventive maintenance of production machines,
• Operate production machines efficiently.
• Control wastage of materials.
• Ensuring that the products produced are of good quality.
• Adhere to health and safety practices.
• To oversee housekeeping around the machine area.
• Check the materials provided to ensure rightful amounts and materials are provided.
• Inspect the machines regularly to ensure they are in good and operational condition.
• Detect and report any faults to the Plant Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic.
• Any other duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor. Job Ref. No. MIUL/MO/BS/KLA

Educational Qualifications And Experience
• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education with a bias in science subjects.
• 1-year relevant experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Skills & Professional Attributes Required
• Good communication skills including reading skills
• An aptitude for math. *Mechanical ability.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• The ability to work in high places.
• The ability to get along well with co-worker
• *The ability to keep up to date with changing technology.
• Creativity.
• The ability to do precision work
