JOB DETAILS:

Head of Human Resource and Organizational Development

Overall Job Purpose:
To provide support in the delivery of the various human resource functions and activities with direct emphasis on capacity building & coordination of staff training as well as learning and development in order to ensure better performance of the Human Resource function within the hospital.
Detailed Roles and responsibilities: (refer to CORSU Website).
Academic/Professional qualifications, work experience, knowledge & skills
• Bachelor's Degree in HR Management and where a 1st degree in other humanities, a Post Graduate qualification in HRM is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in HR Management.
• Member of a Human Resource Management
• Association of Uganda (HRMAU) or other HR professional body.
• Knowledge of Uganda Labour laws.
• Knowledge of employee learning and development as well as capacity development and training skills. Good computer knowledge and skills.
• Interpersonal skills, communication customer care skills.
• Organizational and analytical skills.
• Good oral and written English.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Interpersonal, conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
• Flexible, reliable and able to work from Monday to Friday under tight timelines.
• Empathetic; assertive and knowledgeable in handling HR issues.
