ST. Simon Peter's Vocational Training Centre is a private founded institution that offers practical skills currently collaborating with the Uganda Refugees Employment Promotion Project (UREPP) implementing a 3-year project aiming at improving lives of the refugees at Kyangwali refugee camp and vulnerable youth of western Uganda as a host community, by providing Vocational Training and Entrepreneurial skills. The Project will be funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Republic of Germany (BMZ) group and in partnership with the Germany Bildungswerkder Bayerischen Wirtschaft, bbw bbw gGmbH. By the end of the project, approximately 800 trainees will be trained in different skills. The management calls for applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following posts. .

• Organizing training tools, materials and resources
• Preparing Lesson Plans and schemes
• Training, assessing and evaluating training.

Minimum Qualification
• The candidate must possess either a Craft Part I, DIT Certificate, or National
• Certificate in welding and metal fabrication.
• The candidate must be a Ugandan of 23 years and above
• The candidate must be able to speak and write English or Runyakitara fluently
• The candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years working experience in the related field, with proof.

NOTE:
• Possession of a diploma or its equivalent in the relevant field, Certificate in Technical Teacher Education(CTTE), Diploma in Technical Teacher Education (DITTE), ICT skills, a Master Craft certificate, able to speak and write Kiswahili and Luganda, are with an added advantage.
