JOB DETAILS:
Position: Study Nurse (2 Posts)
Qualifications and abilities:
• A certified registered nurse however one with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing will be an added advantage.
• Registration with the Nurses and Practices Council.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a hospital or research setting
• Certified Good Clinical Practice training is a MUST
• Knowledge and experience in management of cases with epilepsy is an added advantage
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in three or more local languages will be an added advantage.
• Flexibility to travel and reside in various districts all over Uganda over a two-year period.
• Expected to live in a nearby location next to the respective study clinics set up in various districts all over Uganda.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to the Project Coordinator.
• Facilitate study clinical flow by checking vital signs and weights of the study participants.
• Ensuring that all the required data for the study is collected on the respective case report forms filled and filed.
• Provide any assistance to the study clinicians as they assess the patients
• Organize the distribution of refreshments for the study participants

Duty Station:
Respective study clinics set up in various districts all over Uganda.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Associate Degree
