We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our Uganda office in the following position.

Overall role
The successful candidates will work with the team to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Executing non-complex assignments related to advising clients on their tax affairs, conducting basic business analysis, indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and providing tax solutions.
• Proactively assist the senior team to help our clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, implement tax strategies, resolve disagreements with tax authorities, and manage tax accounting and reporting issues.
• Interpret and communicate tax regulations clearly to clients or colleagues.

The ideal candidate should have:
• Bachelor of Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or Finance.
• Prior experience in Tax is an added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Results-driven and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
