JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose / Objective:
i. Maintains precise elevation and alignment of construction levels, grades, alignment to ensure the quality and safety of the final road infrastructure.
ii. Ensures that construction meets design specifications and that the final road infrastructure is safe, functional, and of high quality.
iii. Verify and maintain the correct elevation and alignment of road construction elements, such as earthworks, pavements, and structures.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Site Surveying: Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys of project sites.
2. Data Collection: Gather accurate data using surveying instruments and equipment.
3. Measurement and Mapping: Create detailed measurements, drawings, and maps of the surveyed areas.
4. GPS Technology: Utilize GPS and surveying software for precise location data.
5. Marking and Staking: Place markers and stakes to indicate reference points and measurements.
6. Survey Data Analysis: Analyze collected data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
7. Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to provide survey data for project planning.
8. Quality Control: Ensure that survey results meet established quality standards.
9. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during surveying activities.
10. Reporting: Provide accurate and detailed survey reports to the project team.
11. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments and equipment.
12. Collaboration: Coordinate with construction teams to communicate test results and provide recommendations.
13. Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
