Job Summary:
The Subject teacher is responsible for ensuring that the teaching and learning process at MVHS is effectively managed to the highest standards of academic rigor and assessment. The subject teacher then ensures that curriculum delivery is reflected in the scheme of work and that lessons are planned and delivered according to timetable; and record of own work kept. Ensures that students assignments and tests provoke high order thinking skills and are marked in time before submission to the Class teacher and DOS for retrieval and forecasting. He/ She additionally, supports school functions and events and lives up to sound ethical and behavioral standards, setting an impeccable record and remaining an example to the entire school community including maintaining personal quest for their own learning as the leading learner.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• A Bachelor in Education from a recognized institution.
• A Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the subject area
• Excellent teaching and assessment skills
• Good knowledge and ability to develop syllabus, subject notes and progress reports

The Person should be:
• Logical and forward thinking
• Proactive and Results Oriented with Emotional Resourcefulness
• Equipped with excellent Teaching and Assessment skills
• Equipped with communication, planning and organizational skills
• Problem Solver with Relationship Building skills
