JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
Support the implementation of internal controls for transparent and efficient management, in order to facilitate accountability and sound administration.
Key Result Areas
• Review payment requests to ensure completeness including, proper coding and ensure timely initiation of all payments.
• Post the general ledger.
• Prepare cash books and reconciliations.
• Review and ensure the payroll is accurately prepared.
• File records of all transactions as per established procedures, and guidelines.
• Prepare reports including accountability reports and ensure completeness of attached documentation
• Support the preparation of draft financial statements.
• Support GOU and Partner audits by providing information required.
• Participate in the preparation and generation of the section’s budget, and work plan.
• Prepare and submit timely accountability for resources.
• Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Specifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• An honors Degree in Commerce or Bachelors in Business Administration (Finance/Accounting options), BSc (Accounting option) or equivalent.
• Part Professional Qualifications – ACCA, CPA is an added advantage.
Experience
• Two (2) years’ working experience.

• IT skills – MS Word and Excel, PowerPoint
