JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose / Objective:
Responsible for overseeing all surveying activities related to road construction projects to contribute to the successful completion of project by providing essential geospatial information and insights.
Ensurie accurate measurements, data collection, and mapping to support project planning, design, and execution.
Provide expert leadership in surveying activities, ensuring that construction projects are accurately aligned, graded, and executed according to design specifications.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
• Survey Strategy: Develop and execute survey strategies for road construction projects.
• Team Leadership: Manage and lead the survey team, providing guidance and mentoring.
• Survey Planning: Plan survey activities, including topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
• Data Collection: Ensure accurate and efficient data collection using surveying instruments and GPS technology.
• Mapping and Alignment: Create precise measurements, drawings, and maps for road construction elements.
• Quality Control: Verify accuracy of survey data and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers to provide accurate survey data.
• Advanced Survey Techniques: Implement advanced survey techniques as needed for complex projects.
• Technology Integration: Incorporate emerging survey technologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Training and Development: Provide training and professional development opportunities for the survey team.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with construction teams to communicate test results and provide recommendations.
• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

• Working experience: Possession 10 years working experience of which 5 of them at a supervisory level.
