Multiplex Ltd has transformed into one of the largest companies in the construction of Roads, Bridges, Buildings, Dams and Water works, Stone Quarrying, Concrete Products, Asphalt production, Plant Hire and Construction Material Transport Services. Qualification Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering and have to be registered.
others At least 5 years’ experience in Site Management
A practitioner in a progressively major company

Summary of duties and responsibilities
• Critically study and analyze the contract documentation, drawings, specification, BOQs in relation to the contract.
• Read and become conversant with all the conditions/specifications of the contract and ensure that the company’s obligations there under are discharged and demand the client to discharge his as well.
• Ensure good progress of work, quality, economy and timely completion of the project.
• Prepare project implementation plans, Programme and budget for your supervisor’s approval.
• Responsible for the day to day incorporation of resources in work profitably and efficiently ensuring maximum quality work output.
• Responsible for the day to day accountability and utilization of resources according to approved implementation plans (pre-plans)
• Prepare analytical progress and profitability reports for Supervisor’s attention on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensure that implementation/facilitation plans indicate work input, output and profitability of the works.
• Implement the contract within the cost and time limits allowed in the tender and to improve on these.
• Direct and control work and related resources to the site foremen and ensure that work is carried out according to design, Drawings, specification, BOQs and approved implementation
• Take care of the company’s assets on the site.
• Conduct the company’s business with the consultant, the client, and the public in an honest and responsible manner in keeping with the company’s reputation.
• Operate the company’s costing system on the site and study the resulting unit costs when they become available, so that he is aware of this cost and uses them to take action to reduce costs on the site.
• Liaise closely with the supervising engineers/consultant to ensure that clear written site instructions are received and passed over to the quantity surveyor if it has any financial implication.
• Must recognize, train and develop the staff under him and allow them to carry as much authority and responsibility as they are capable.
• Accounting officer at the site level.
