JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: 3 Key Population Peer
Reports To: Facility KP Focal Person and Art in Charges
Work Station: Arua RRH
Duties and Responsibilities
• Organizing and conducting sensitization about HIV prevention among KPS
• Supporting in classification of KPS
• providing pre-test and post-test counselling among KPS
• Conducting HTS.
• Distributing HIVST kits among KPS
• Supporting linkage of new KPS in care
• Organizing appointments, monitoring- identifying those due for prep refill, viral load
• Testing and line-list them.
• Conducting community drug delivery for prep and art
• Supporting in distribution of commodities like condoms and lubricants.
• Adhering to counselling and support.
• Intensive adherence counselling and support.
• Supporting Follow Up Of Lost Clients (KP).
Key Outputs
• Monthly Report Submitted.
• Hiv Tests Done.
• Newly Identified Kps Enrolled Into Care.
• Kps Receiving Prevention Services.
• Community Visits Made.
• Hiv Self-Testing Kits Distributed Among Kps.
• Clients Refilled With Prep In The Community.
• Lost Kps Followed Up.
Key Performance Indicators
• Number of HIV tests done.
• Number of newly identified KPs enrolled into care.
• Number of KPS receiving prevention services.
• Number of community visits made.
• Number of HIV self-testing kits distributed among KPS.
• Number of KP clients refilled with prep in the community.
• Number of lost KPS followed up.
Training and qualifications and skills
• Demonstrated Commitment And Passion In Helping Key Population Clients.
• Be Able To Read And Write (English) With A Minimum Of Primary Leaving Certificate.
• Resident within the Health Facility Catchment Area.
• Good Interpersonal Skills and Ability to Interact Productively With Other Fellow Peers.
• Self-Motivated, Innovative and Capable Of Meeting Deadlines.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Ability to Work in Team In A Respectful Way.
