JOB DETAILS:
The Uganda Police Authority is in the process of recruiting Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to work in the Police Air Wing Unit. Application is therefore invited from suitable Ugandans to join the Uganda Police Force, Air wing.
POST: CADET ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE AIRCRAFT MAINTANANCE
ENGINEERS (04 VACANCIES)

SCALE: UGANDA GOVERNMENT SCALE - U4 (SC)
AGE: 35 YEARS AND BELOW
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:
• Applicants should be Ugandans having Aircraft Maintenance Licences A&C.
• Applicants should have a minimum of (3) three years working experience with a reputable organization as an Aircraft Engineer.
• He/she should have a good communication skill.
• Have no criminal record.
• Should be ready to work for long hours and at times in difficult situations.
• Ready to work in any part of the country.
• Proficient in computer usage
• Be physically fmentally fit and able to undertake the requisite twelve months’ basic police course.
• Ready to undertake additional professional training.
DUTIES:
• Ensuring that the Aircraft are in serviceable condition.
• Planning for and ensuring that the unitAircrafts undergo the requisite regular maintenance/servicing
• Prepare Aircraft for the requisite regular Certification.
• Perform the duty of Flight Engineer.
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

III and RDC from distiict of origin should be brought in person to the Uganda Police Authority Secretariat located at the Ministry of Internal Affairs Jinja road Kampala before 15th February 2019. Note: Appointments in the Uganda Police Force is after successful completion of the training and attestation Candidates presenting forged documents or impersonating will be arrested and prosecuted
